Alberta Driver's License Moving to Alberta From Another Province:
º Out of province driver's license (which you will have to surrender)
º Secondary piece of ID
º Proof of your Alberta address
º A medical if your license is a Class 1, 2, or 4 or if your age is over 75 years
Moving to Alberta from USA:
º Out of province driver's license (which you will have to surrender)
º Proof of date first licensed
º Proof of your Alberta address
º Passport and Visa papers (the expiry date must be 3 months or more in the future)
º You will receive a Class 5 Driver's License that will expire on your birthday following the expiry date of you visa
º A medical if you age is over 75
